“Gundam” This wind power is no joke! “Handy fan” designed with Amuro & Char's personal markings is here!

From the anime Mobile Suit Gundam and the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, a “handy fan” featuring the personal marks of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable has been released. Reservations for all two types are being accepted on the character goods site “BanColle!” on Bandai Namco Group's official online store Premium Bandai.

The Gundam series is a robot anime series that began with Mobile Suit Gundam, which began broadcasting in 1979. With realistic depictions of warfare in which robots were treated as weapons known as mobile suits, meticulous scientific research, and complex, deep human drama, the series established the genre of “real robot anime,” which could not be described as a simple story of good versus evil, which had been the trend in robot anime up until that point. It sparked a major boom.

Since then, the series has been produced as a series, including 24 TV anime series, 30 theatrical and cinematic works, 27 OVAs, streaming, event videos, TV specials, and many more. It has long been highly popular both in Japan and overseas. The latest theatrical version, “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM,” was released on January 26, 2024.

The “Handy Fan” currently accepting preorders comes in two designs, featuring the personal mark of Amuro Ray from “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack,” which depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char, and Char Aznable from “Mobile Suit Gundam.” This is a compact version of the electric fan, an essential item during the hot summer season, and allows you to feel a strong breeze anywhere. It can be used in three ways: handheld, hands-free, and on a desk.

Based on a popular model made by Rhythm, it is equipped with Rhythm's unique double-rotating fan, achieving a large airflow despite its compact size. The airflow can be set to four levels: weak, medium, strong, and turbo, and it is also attractive that it is lightweight and compact at 150g. It comes with a carabiner that can be attached to various places with one touch, so if you attach it to a daypack, you can use it immediately even when you are on the move without the hassle of taking it out.
