Dragon Ball creator praises Sand Land game in posthumous letter

A Bandai Namco Entertainment launch the game today SAND LAND and it was now revealed this letter written by Akira Toriyamathe creator of Dragon Ball It is Sandlandbefore his death and where the famous mangaka recommends the game.

The letter was released in the name of Toriyamawho wrote it in January 2024. We can read:

I haven’t watched the entire gameplay yet. However, it greatly expands the worldview of the original manga with many interesting new elements. It’s a high quality indie game and I can say it’s a highly satisfying action RPG.

Firstly, the graphics present an excellent balance between the manga’s atmosphere and its drawing style. The representation looks great. The game is sure to provide you with an exciting experience with a genuine sense of design and attention to detail, from the many new vehicle designs, various customizations, as well as the background design!

In the game, there is not only the world of Sand Land, but also a new world called Forest Land with new characters that were not in the manga. You can enjoy a more substantial story and a vast adventure map while playing as the Demon Prince.

Akira Toriyama ends with his recommendation for the game:
