Ubisoft promises that XDefiant will not have “pay-to-win” mechanics

With release scheduled for May 21st, XDefiant is the next big bet for Ubisoft that in your blog tried to reassure players by detailing how the game's monetization will work and promising that it will not have “pay-to-win” mechanics.

• No pay-to-win mechanics – Any content that can be purchased that impacts gameplay can also be unlocked through challenges to ensure fair play among our community.

Our goal is to provide incredible customization options that reward every play, win, and even loss you put into the game. As you play more matches, all of your time and energy will be dedicated to unlocking content through the Battle Pass or challenges.

XDefiant It will be released on May 21st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Ubisoft Connect, and in its description we can read:
