Suddenly, Kagaya's crow appears before Tamayo and invites her, a demon, to the Demon Slayer Corps' headquarters. Meanwhile, Tanjiro receives a letter from Kagaya at the Butterfly Mansion and visits Giyuu, who is not participating in training.

Tanjiro persistently talks to Giyuu, despite being rejected at first. Eventually Giyuu gives in and begins to explain why he isn't participating in training.
