The daily fantasy comic “Kinoko Inu'', which has a circulation of 1.7 million copies, will be made into a TV anime in the fall of 2024. A teaser visual drawn by the original author and a special announcement PV for the TV anime have also been released.

The original work is an everyday fantasy comic that was serialized by Kimama Sousei in Monthly COMIC Ryu (Tokuma Shoten) for 12 years, and depicts the daily life of Kinoko Inu, a mysterious creature with a mushroom on its left ear, and the people around it.

Two years after the release of the final 15 volumes, a TV anime adaptation was announced. At the same time, a teaser visual drawn by the original author, Kimama Sousei, and a special PV for the TV anime decision have been released. In addition, for the long-awaited TV anime adaptation, a newly drawn illustration with a message from the original author has arrived.

Furthermore, TV anime official X (formerly Twitter) has started. To commemorate the decision to make it into a TV anime, a “Follow & Repost W Present Campaign” will be held.

Depending on the number of followers, everyone will receive a digicon of Kinoko Inu, and a special mini colored paper using a newly drawn illustration with a message by the original author, Kimama Aohoshi, will be won by lottery.
