It's a shame that even the collectibles hidden in the scenes are too obvious. This also extends to the lack of challenge against bosses who still show some creativity.

As for the graphics, Princess Peach: Showtime! follows the characteristic style of the games in the series super Mario It is Luigi's Mansion. Despite not being one of the most avant-garde visual experiences in Nintendo, manages to enchant with its vibrant colors, well-designed settings and characters. Furthermore, the animations are fluid, especially the characters' movements and the special effects of Peach's abilities. However, I found problems related to its performance, with frame drops and a certain slowness at certain times occurring too often. For a simple game like this, the idea is that the hardware of the Nintendo Switch It's already at its limit.

I can't help feeling that it could have been more, especially when some of its transformations offer interesting mechanics and challenges. Without a doubt, I would have liked Princess Peach's return to protagonism to have received more dedication, but, nevertheless, it is clear why the Nintendo opted for this type of accessibility which in a way demonstrates concern for a younger target audience, being a good opportunity to introduce them to the world of video games.
