Take-Two CEO is confident about GTA 6 release window

After the release of its most recent tax report where the Take-Two Interactive revealed that Grand Theft Auto SAW (GTA 6) will be released in autumn 2025, its CEO, Strauss Zelnickin an interview with CNBC was confident about this launch window.

Zelnick commented:

There are elements that you can actually measure, for example the number of bugs in a title, and each of us will ensure that we have as few bugs as possible before we release. However, being an extraordinary title, for which there are extraordinary expectations, it's not exactly about bugs, it's about creating an experience that no one has seen before, and Rockstar Games seeks perfection in what it does. And perfection is really hard to measure, it's really more subjective than objective.

When Zelnick was asked how confident he is in hitting the fall 2025 release window of GTA 6he replied:

Well, there is slippage in the industry and we are not immune to it… However, we narrow the timing because we are highly confident in that timing.
