New video of “Ojamajo Doremi” to be released in July Celebrating the hit video's 3 million views

The new video for the theme song “Ojamajo Carnival!!” from the anime “Ojamajo Doremi” has exceeded 3 million views. To commemorate this, it has been decided that a new video will be released on July 30th.

This new video has been produced to the tune of the series' signature song, “Ojamajo Carnival.” The beginning of the video shows Doremi, who was an elementary school student when the series first aired on TV, growing into a junior high school student, a high school student, and then an adult. The video will be released on March 23rd as a surprise production of “Ojamajo's Growth.”

The logo for the new title, “Ojamajo Doremi 1620's,” is displayed prominently, and Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, Momoko and the others appear as grown-ups. The Ojamajo girls dance happily to an original dance that was memorized especially for this video.

The video also shows the girls dressed in school uniforms studying in the library, enjoying karaoke in their casual clothes, and celebrating their youth, showing that they have built close relationships just like when they were active as magicians, and the new footage hints at the birth of a new “Ojamajo Doremi” series.

The popular series was broadcast on the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation and TV Asahi network for four years from 1999, and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024. The story revolves around three girls, Doremi, Hazuki, and Aiko, who become apprentice witches through an unexpected turn of events, and follows their magical and miraculous daily training to become full-fledged witches at school and at a shop called “MAHO-do.” Throughout the series, the number of charming characters, including Onpu, Momoko, and Hana-chan, has increased, and to mark the 20th anniversary, the 20th anniversary film “Looking for Witch Apprentices” was released in theaters nationwide in November 2020.
