Premiering on Netflix scheduled for May 15, 2024, the streaming service has now started showing this new trailer for the second season of the animated series Blood of Zeus.
Blood of Zeus is an original series from Netflix which mixes Greek mythology with studio animation Powerhouse Animation Studios to tell the story of Heron, a commoner who lives in ancient Greece and discovers that he is the son of Zeus.
In the description of Blood of Zeus 2 we can read:
After Zeus’ death, a power vacuum emerges among the gods, leaving Heron, Zeus’s demigod son, to struggle to find his place. He is tormented by loss and hears a mysterious refrain in his dreams, urging him to save his brother, Seraphim, who is suffering the terrors of the Underworld. Unbeknownst to Heron, Hades is trying to recruit Seraphim to help him secure Zeus’ vacant throne and save his family from long-term suffering.
