A Girl & Her Guard Dog Manga Will Continue Its Hiatus Due to Health Issues

The most recent edition of Bessatsu Friend revealed that the manga A Girl & Her Guard Dog (Ojō to Banken-kun) will continue its hiatus due to health problems of Hatsuharu and also to prepare your “second year arc”. The return of the manga will be announced later.

The magazine also published a minichapter of the manga in the same issue. The series went on hiatus in December 2023.

An anime series adaptation premiered in the fall 2023 anime season. The animation is from the studio Project No.9the direction is Nobuhiro Takamoto (Beelzebub, VazzRock the Animation). Aya Satsuki (My Master Has No Tail, Too Cute Crisis) will be responsible for the script for the series and Yukiko Ban (.hack//SIGN, Shining Tears X Wind, Yowamushi Pedal) was chosen to design the characters.
