It has been decided that “Trapezium,'' the feature-length debut novel by Nogizaka46 first-generation member Kazumi Takayama, which was also released as an anime movie on the 10th of this month, will be adapted into a comic. It will be serialized in KADOKAWA from August.

Prior to the start of the series, a key visual was also released showing the main character girls, centering on the protagonist Yu Higashi, looking at the sunrise. The person in charge of the illustrations is Kazuharu Kina, a popular illustrator. The illustrations of girls who are both cute and strong-willed fit perfectly into the worldview of “Trapezium,'' and are vivid depictions of teenage girls who aim to become idols.

[Synopsis]
High school student Higashi Yuu was captivated by the Japanese idols he saw in a foreign land when he was young, and secretly dreamed of becoming one. In order to make her dream come true, she imposes the following four principles on herself. She “doesn't use SNS,'' “doesn't have a boyfriend,'' “doesn't stand out at school,'' and “makes friends with beautiful girls from north, south, east, and west.''

Starting from the East, where he lives, Yu works hard to gather friends from all directions. What kind of future will she reach after devoting her entire high school life to her dream of becoming an idol?
