Lenovo will be working on a cheaper Legion Go

A Lenovo Legion Go was launched in late 2023 as a response to ROG Ally It is Steam Deck. The portable console was praised for its functionality with removable controls, similar to the Nintendo Switchbut its price of €799 did not please players.

According to the Windows Central Lenovo will be working on a cheaper “Lite” version of the Legion Go. We can read:

Dubbed the Lenovo Legion Go Lite, the “Lite” version will sport the same AMD Z1 lineup, but will feature some refinements over its predecessor. We're not sure exactly what those refinements will be, but the “Lite” moniker might give us some hints. Maybe it will have a slightly smaller screen, maybe it will ditch the removable joysticks like the Nintendo Switch Lite with a similar name. “Lite” also suggests a more affordable price point, perhaps eschewing the Lenovo Legion Go's $630 starting price range for something more palatable. ASUS has a cheaper version of its Ally that uses AMD's regular Z1 chipset instead of the Z1 Extreme. Therefore, it is entirely possible that this “Lite” version will also drop the “E” to provide some savings to customers.
