According to Variety EntertainmentConvergence Entertainment acquired the rights to adapt the franchise Gungrave for a live-action film. Gungrave is a game for the PlayStation 2 created by Red Entertainment and designed by Yasuhiro Nightow, the creator of Trigun; The game later originated an anime series produced by the Madhouse studio.
Convergence Entertainment is committed to this type of projects as it is producing live-action adaptations of Lone Wolf, The King of Fighters, Wicked City and Clocktower.
