Animation studios Zero G Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo) and Studio Guts Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo) have announced that they will open a professional animator training school “Z&G Anime Lab” next year in 2025. We would like to inform you that it has become.

“Z&G Anime Lab”, which opens the door to the anime industry, is finally open!

Our lab works in a variety of genres, including “Tsugumomo,” “A Science Student Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It.” “A Leisurely Farmer in Another World,” and “The Mystery, the Maiden, and the Spirited Away,” which stands out among the currently aired works. This is a training school directly managed by the industry by Zero G and Studio Guts, which have produced popular works.

Until nowBeginner to professional debut in just 1 yearWe have been implementing individual education through workshops and other events to help students acquire the necessary skills, and based on that educational know-how, we have decided to open a training school.

Starting with “Battery,” which aired in 2016, they have been constantly producing TV animation on a contract basis. In 2022, he produced the theatrical animation “Bokura no Yoake”.

We have offline editing and digital photography departments, and we also have a sound production company within the group, so we are able to handle everything from animation planning to just before delivery, both in-house and within the group.

Since our founding in 2000, we have been nurturing aspiring animators and participating in the production of TV and theatrical animation.

Participating works in recent years (as of 2024) include “One Piece RED”, “Beyblade Series”, “Yu-Gi-Oh!”, and “Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It”.

Among them, the director for “Beyblade X” and the character design for “Rike Koi” were produced in-house.

They have a branch office in Niigata Prefecture, where they also produce original short animation series called “Tobidase Series” based on local activities.
