Q1. What does “Urusei Yatsura” mean to you, Nakamura-san?

When it comes to Takahashi Sensei's works, I am from the Ranma 1/2 generation, but I have also come across Maison Ikkoku and this work going back from there.

Each series has its own unique vibe and excitement, and I think that's what makes it so appealing to all generations, and they get so absorbed in it. Among them, I felt that “Urusei Yatsura” was the origin, or the base, of the series.

Q2. Please tell us about the appeal of Rupa, what you kept in mind when playing the role, and what you enjoyed.

One of the characteristics of the character is that he speaks in a dialect, so the task of maintaining that dialect while creating an interesting character was both difficult and fun.

It was really interesting to be able to play a character who goes wild in this work full of “Takahashi Bushi''. It was great to see so many different works! I was keenly aware of this.

I remember that my mother's younger brother loved Ram so much that there was a poster of him at home.

I was a child at the time and felt a little embarrassed about the amount of Lum's skin color, but I would glance at her every time I went home.

Q2. Please tell us about the charm of Carla, what was important to you, and what you enjoyed about playing the role.

The dialect, which is bold and bold despite the cute appearance, was very difficult.

At the same time, as the eye of the typhoon that engulfs the main character, I felt it was fun and rewarding to see her power and ability to completely change the atmosphere of a scene.
