Trailer for the 1st film of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club

This trailer for the first film in the anime trilogy was revealed today Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai Kanketsu-hen. These three films will serve as the conclusion of the anime’s story and the first film will premiere on September 6, 2024.

The video highlights the location of the first film, Okinawa.

The film trilogy takes place after the previous two seasons and the OVA Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Next Sky. The cast and staff are the same.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is based on the group that debuted in the mobile game Love Love! School Idol Festival ALL STARS. With animation by the studio Sunrisethe direction is Tomoyuki Kawamura (Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon), the script is by Jin Tanaka (Cinderella Nine, Go! Princess Precure) and the character design is by Takumi Yokota (animation direction for Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow).

The franchise Love Live! was created in 2010 by Sunrise, Lantis It is Dengeki G Magazinepromising to be the “ultimate fan participation project” allowing fans to vote on idols’ futures.

The first anime Love Live! school idol project premiered in January 2013 and the second season in April 2014. The film Love Live! The School Idol Movie premiered in Japan in June 2015.

We had after Love Live! Sunshine!!the second season premiered on TV in October 2017 and the first season premiered in July 2016. The film Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow premiered in theaters on January 4, 2020.
