The younger sister of illustrator Mutsumi Inomata, who passed away on March 10th this year, updated Inomata's X today, the 1st. She announced that a “Thank You Gathering for Mutsumi Inomata” will be held.
She posted an image with details of the event, including an illustration. In the comment, she wrote, “This is my younger sister, Maiko,” and, “Thanks to the cooperation of many people, we were able to hold my sister's thank you party. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved.”
Next, Inomata's friend and illustrator Hashimoto Masae commented, “This is Hashimoto Masae.” She wrote, “Thank you so much to everyone who helped. I hope to be able to make it a gathering where people can cry, reminisce, and laugh.”
The “Thank You Party for Mutsumi Inomata” will be held from June 28th to 30th at Gallery Zen in Kichijoji, Tokyo, by reservation for 30 minutes.
Inomata has been in charge of character design for the popular game series “Tales of” for many years. He has also been active in a wide range of fields, including providing design assistance for the anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” and illustrating the novel “Dragon Quest.”
