It has been decided that the movie “Look Back”, which will be released in theaters nationwide from June 28, 2024 (Friday), will be officially screened at “Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2024”. In addition, new scene photos have also been released.

“Look Back'' is the work of Tatsuki Fujimoto, a manga artist who has worked on popular works such as “Fire Punch'' and “Chainsaw Man,'' and whose animated movie “Chainsaw Man Rezehen'' is scheduled to be released in 2024.

It was released on the comic distribution site “Jump+” in July 2021, and while it vividly depicts two girls, Fujino and Kyomoto, who continue to create manga single-mindedly, it also depicts the events that will occur that will change their fate. The drawings were drawn with a strong sense of realism, and attracted the attention of many manga fans, including famous creators.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is a world-scale animation film festival held every June in the southeastern part of France. It will be held on Saturday.

The “Annecy Presents'' division, in which this film has been screened, aims to introduce the diversity and richness of animation works from around the world, and to share ambitious animation from around the world with all audiences. This is the first non-competition category created this year. Other Japanese films scheduled to be screened include “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Star'' and “Sandland.''
