Bonfire #12, a large-scale offline official tournament for the Nintendo Switch software “Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL”, will be held on May 5th and 6th at Kusunoki Hall (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture).
◆Star players from home and abroad gather together
“Bonfire” is an unofficial, non-profit, large-scale offline tournament held by users.
This year’s “Bonfire #12” will feature over 2,000 players, the largest ever. It will be held in a double-elimination format using community rules, with Round 1 being BO3 (BO5 for the winner’s final and loser’s final only), and Round 2 being BO5 for all matches.
This tournament will bring together top domestic players such as Accola (ZETA DIVISION), as well as world powerhouses such as “champion” MkLeo from Mexico and Glutonny from France. We are also looking forward to the rematch of the Bonfire #10 final between Mexico’s Sparg0 (FaZe Clan) and Japan’s Acola (ZETA DIVISION).

As of this writing, ticket sales for on-site viewing have ended, but it is scheduled to be broadcast on Twitch/YouTube.
