Promotional video reveals #Compass 2.0 anime debut in 2025

In the event Niconico Chōkaigi 2024 this trailer was revealed where it is confirmed that the premiere of the anime #Compass 2.0: Sentou Setsuri Kaiseki System it will take place in 2025. The cast, staff and promotional image were also revealed, which you can see below.

This is an RTS anime #Compass—Combat Providence Analysis System (#Compass Sentō Setsuri Kaiseki System) by Dwango and from NHN PlayArt

We now know that the animation is from the studio Lay-duce (O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad) and that the direction was handed over to Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Fate/Grand Order: First Order).

#Compass is a capture-the-flag-style three-on-three battle game. Players form teams of three by selecting characters from the game’s roster and fight to capture control points within a set period of time. The team that gains control of the greatest number of checkpoints is declared the winner.

With over 15 million downloads since its launch in 2016, #Compass is a free game with microtransactions.

The game has already inspired a series of four-minute anime shorts from TMS Entertainment and other studios in 2018.
