It was announced on the 27th that the popular TV anime series “Pretty Cure” will reach its 1000th episode on June 2nd. The series has been broadcast every Sunday at 8:30am on ABC TV and TV Asahi for 20 years, and the milestone comes 20 years after the first series, “Futari wa Pretty Cure,” began airing on February 1st, 2004.

The “PreCure” series is a heroine transformation action anime in which an ordinary girl transforms into a legendary warrior, PreCure, and fights powerful enemies. The series began with the first series, “Futari wa PreCure,” which aired in 2004, and is currently airing its 21st series, “Wonderful PreCure!”

To commemorate the 1000th episode of the series, various collaboration projects will be carried out, including a special dance collaboration with Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, ≠ME, and BEYOOOOONDS.

The three groups collaborating this time, Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, ≠ME, and BEYOOOOONDS, are from the generation that grew up watching PreCure when they were young. Each member has various memories with PreCure, and they decided to carry out a special dance collaboration project with idols from that PreCure generation.

Dance is one of the most important elements in enjoying the “PreCure” series. Throughout the series, various dances have been created and have become beloved by many children.

Among the many dances, this time, a dance collaboration of six songs has been realized, including five ending theme songs from the broadcast anniversary episodes of the past series and the opening theme song of the currently airing “Wonderful Pretty Cure!”. Starting with the ending theme song of “Futari wa Pretty Cure”, “Getchu! Love Love?!”, memorable songs are revived with the powerful and cute dance of idols.

The dance collaboration movies will be released one by one for six consecutive days starting from May 27th on the official PreCure YouTube channel, as well as on TVer, which offers free on-demand streaming.

When I was little, I was crazy about the two girls from “Futari wa Pretty Cure”! But now that I'm an adult, I admire all the Pretty Cures in each series because they're strong, cute, and cool.

To borrow the words of Cure Amour, “I love you all!”

Ayaka Yasumoto
The more I danced, the more energy mysteriously surged forth and it was a really fun shoot! If you knew back then that I used to pretend to be Precure during breaks at school, you'd be really surprised…lol

Mirei Hoshina
I've loved PreCure since I was little, going to events and wearing dresses and transformation goods, and I never even dreamed that I'd one day be able to work with them. Thank you! Like PreCure, I want to continue to be someone who can deliver dreams to others!

Kaho Kobayashi
We grew up watching PreCure, so we were very happy to be able to dance with Cure Lovely and Cure Wonderful! Ebichu will do our best to deliver lots of sparkle and power together with PreCure, who brings smiles to so many people!

Riko Nakayama
I remember the time when I looked forward to watching “Futari wa Precure” on TV every week! No matter how many years pass, Precure is still our hero! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

Sakuragi Kokona
I've always treasured the PreCure Mind since I was little, and I wanted to become an idol who could cheer up and make others stronger! PreCure is a girl's dream for life! It's something to aspire to! Even as an adult, I want to keep this PreCure Mind in mind!

Kokubo Yuno
When I was little, I looked up to PreCure because they were bright and energetic. Now I love idol costumes and it's my dream to make one someday, so I look at PreCure costumes and study them. I love that you can always love them no matter how old you get! And PreCure was one of the reasons I wanted to become an idol, so I was happy to be able to become an idol and dance with them, making my childhood dream come true!

Waka Kazami
I was happy to be able to participate in the 1000th anniversary of PreCure, which I have loved since I was a child and have been watching all this time. This collaboration made me realize once again that PreCure is cool and sparkling, and is someone to look up to, no matter how old you are! I hope they will continue to bring smiles and courage to many people!

Ema Sakurai
PreCure has been my idol since I was little, and I often went to the cinema with my dad and cheered on the girls by waving my light! I was really happy and delighted to be able to collaborate with my beloved PreCure! The dance is also very catchy and easy to remember, so I hope everyone will try it out! I want to help many people and bring smiles to the world just like PreCure!

Yuuna Nakamura

Ogi Nana
When I was little, I was given lots of PreCure pajamas, toys, and dolls even before I could remember! The PreCure that made the biggest impression on me was Cure Blossom, and I would always wait in front of the TV to watch PreCure on Sundays! I would dress up in pajamas as my little sister and say her catchphrases. And the “Wonderful PreCure!” that's currently airing is just too cute…! Watching it while putting on makeup makes me feel like I'm more feminine, so I look forward to the next episode every week♪ I'm so happy that Cure Nyammy, who has become so cute recently, appeared in the opening!!

Kirari Ochiai
On my days off, I would wake up at 8am to watch the PreCure anime, and I would look forward to waiting with excitement while eating breakfast! When the series changed, I would have lively conversations with the other girls at kindergarten the next day, play with my friends using transformation goods, and compete with my older sister to see who could remember the most transformation words. I also often begged my parents to take me to see my favorite PreCure in person!! PreCure was such a big presence in my life that watching it brought back all my childhood memories!

Moeko Kanisawa
I'm from the “Futari wa Pretty Cure” generation and have loved Pretty Cure since I was young, but it wasn't until I became an adult that my love for Pretty Cure rekindled! When I turned on the TV on Sunday morning, the first transformation scene of “Delicious Party Pretty Cure” was being broadcast, and I was shocked and teared up, thinking “What a beautiful world!” I was glued to the screen! After that, I met Cure Sky on “Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure” and my desire to become an idol like Pretty Cure, a hero, grew stronger! I collected goods of my old favorites Cure Black and Cure White, as well as the new favorites Cure Sky and Cure Prism at the Pretty Store, and I deepened my love and knowledge by appearing in the Pretty Cure Seminar (a special program commemorating the release of the “Pretty Cure All Stars F” movie), and I also went to the All Pretty Cure Exhibition! They are a very important presence to me now!

Kawaguchi Natsune
In kindergarten, we played PreCure every day, and my favorite character was Cure Aqua from “Yes! PreCure 5.”

Cure Aqua was popular, and I remember fighting over her role! Also, when we had a sleepover on our kindergarten graduation trip, my friend's pajamas were PreCure pajamas that glowed in the dark, and I remember we all got excited when we crawled under the covers and saw her pajamas!

Kawanakako Natsuki Heart
I've been watching PreCure since I was old enough to understand, and I love it! I used to sing the songs, write down the words to use when transforming and the special moves, and I was given transformation tools to play with! The one that left the biggest impression on me was “Suite PreCure♪”! I loved going to see the show in cosplay with my friends, and making “Suite PreCure♪” cupcakes with the set!

Sakurai Momo
Cure Peach from “Fresh Pretty Cure!” was my favorite character, and my name is Momo! The ending song “You make me happy!” is the song that made me fall in love with singing and dancing back then, so I'm very happy to be able to make my dream come true and dance as an idol!

Mirei Suganami
The one that left the strongest impression on me was the original Pretty Cure, “Futari wa Pretty Cure.” I first came into contact with this work when I was in the first grade of elementary school. Pretty Cure made my world sparkle, they were both cool and cute, and I admired Pretty Cure. My mother even bought me transformation goods, and I was so happy every day.

Hitomi Suzuki
Ever since I was little, my mother would wake me up every Sunday morning to watch anime! Particularly memorable are “Yes! PreCure 5” and “Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!”. I would play the game software endlessly, get a Cure Lemonade costume as a gift and pretend to be PreCure, go to the shows with my mother, and my father would take me to the movies. It's full of fun memories with my mother and father! Even now that I'm an adult, I'm saved by the strong spirit of PreCure, and I want to be someone that people look up to like PreCure, so I work hard every day as an idol! For me, PreCure will always be a sparkling presence that I look up to!

Saya Tanizaki
When I was in kindergarten, “Futari wa Pretty Cure” was broadcast and I loved Pretty Cure and admired it. I remember Santa giving me a costume that allowed me to transform into Cure White! My cousin, who was the same age as me, had a Cure Black costume and we wore matching costumes! Pretty Cure is cute, strong and sparkly, and I think it's something to aspire to no matter how old you are!!

Tomita Nanakaze
I looked forward to watching PreCure on TV every week with my sister.

I'm not a morning person, but I managed to get up early on the days the show aired! I would pretend to be Precure by wearing the transformation set that turned me into “Futari wa Precure”, and I also collected toys and cards of Porun's Touch Commune! Every episode of Precure makes me cry! Everyone cares about someone, and even when they fight, there are always realizations and growth! Even when they hit a wall, the Precures overcome it and look straight ahead again, and seeing them moving forward together has given me courage since I was little, and made me want to be like them. I also feel that it's very profound how they change the future with the courage of one step and the power of belief. I love animals, so I was really looking forward to this season's “Wonderful Precure!”!!

Shiori Naga
I grew up watching “Fresh Pretty Cure!” and “Heart Catch Pretty Cure!”. When I was little, I read through children's magazines and focused on getting information about Pretty Cure. I also remember being engrossed in collecting Pretty Cure bread and sweets with Pretty Cure dolls, and playing Pretty Cure with my friends. Pretty Cure was definitely what brightened up my daily life as a child! I still love them and admire them.

Honda Tamayuki
I learned many important things from Precure, such as the importance of compassion, the importance of never giving up on anything and continuing to try new things, and the importance of cherishing friends, family, and myself. I am so happy to have been able to grow up alongside my beloved Precure. I also get courage from Precure's opening and ending songs!! I love Eas from “Fresh Pretty Cure!” and I used to imitate her “Switch Over” when I was little! I will never forget the shock and joy I felt the day I first met Cure Passion!

【BEYOOOOONDS】Comment

Shimakura Rika
I still love Precure and it makes my heart flutter. Sometimes things don't go well. But I learned how cool it is to never give up. As an adult, I learned that the costumes in “Futari wa Precure” are designed to give the girls their all in battle, and that the camerawork is designed so that children can watch with ease.

I am very happy to have been able to grow up being influenced by PreCure in so many ways.

Shiori Nishida
My first dream was to become a Precure! I spent my childhood thinking that I had to be well behaved in order to become a Precure in the future, so it feels like a dream to be able to dance together like this now! My sister and I often wore “Futari wa Precure” clothes and played Precure! Even as an adult, my heart flutters when I come into contact with Precure, and they are always cool and cute, and I admire them!

Saya Eguchi
When I was little, Precure was the sparkling presence I admired! I played Precure with my friends, transformed at home, collected goods, and got so many thrills. I was so happy to be able to work with the Precure I admired, and it was a dreamlike experience that reminded me of the thrills I had almost forgotten!

Kurumi Takase
I've always admired PreCure since I was a child. Whenever I watch them, they always give me smiles and courage. PreCure of every generation is kind, cute, cool, and above all, they have strong hearts. Every time I watch them, they make me think that I want to be someone who can fight for something like them. When I was a child, I believed that I would become a PreCure when I grew up, and to be honest, I still want to be a PreCure, so it's a work I love! I'm very happy to be able to be involved with PreCure, the character I admire so much!

Maeda Kokoro
I think it's a path that every girl must take at least once, but I also dreamed of becoming a Pretty Cure and would often play pretend games with my friends! I want to tell my younger self that when I grow up, I can collaborate with Pretty Cure! I was able to relive the sparkling feelings I had back then!

Yamazaki Yumeha
“Yes! PreCure 5” is my generation! I was given costumes that let me become the PreCure I admired, and I always wore them! But that wasn't enough, I even wore PreCure pajamas! I was heavily influenced by PreCure, which is filled with the cute and cool girls I want to be, and even now I want to be strong and beautiful! I want to work hard and become an idol like that.

Minami Okamura
Last year, I happened to see a PreCure show, and it felt like I had traveled back in time to when I admired PreCure! PreCure shines brightly and gives courage to everyone, whether they are children or adults, and I felt that there was something in common with my favorite “idols,” so I became very interested in them! Now that I have fallen in love with PreCure once again, I feel like it is fate that I have been able to collaborate with them on such a wonderful project. I hope that many people will enjoy it!

Princess Momono
Ever since I was in kindergarten, I loved Cure Peach from “Fresh Pretty Cure!” and would go to kindergarten every day with a perm and high twin tails. Her name was also Momohime, so I felt a sense of sympathy for her and she was my role model. Now that I've grown up and become an idol, it feels like a dream to be dancing on a sparkling stage like Cure Peach. I'm so happy! I think Pretty Cure will always have a place in my heart.

Hirai Miho
Last year, when Satoyoshi Utano-chan, Okamura Minami-chan and I went on a trip together, we went to see the PreCure show at Toei Kyoto Studio Park! It was actually my first time seeing a PreCure show in my life, and it was so much fun! When I saw the children dancing with the PreCure with sparkling eyes, I thought “What a wonderful space…!” and at the same time, I felt my heart flutter! In particular, I'm from the “Futari wa PreCure” generation, so I was really excited when Cure Black made her appearance!!!

Moeka Kobayashi
The series I watched was the original “Futari wa Pretty Cure,” and the Pretty Cure's names were Nagisa and Honoka, so I was always proud that I had the same name as them. I played pretend Pretty Cure at kindergarten, and was given toys with Pretty Cure transformation items…these are indispensable memories when talking about my childhood.

Satoyoshi Utano
I've loved PreCure for 20 years since it first aired, and when I was little I used to get up early on Sundays and dance the ending dance along with the series every week! I have a “PreCure corner” at home, filled with acrylic stands of my favorite cures and all the transformation items from each generation. PreCure's belief of “never giving up” and their straightforward and single-minded attitude have inspired me many times, from my childhood to my school days, and even now as an adult.
