“Eevee Friends Afternoon Tea” will be held for a limited time on select days from July to September 2024 at 11 hotels and wedding venues in nine cities across Japan operated by Best Bridal and Best Anniversary.

“Pokemon” is loved all over the world, both in Japan and overseas.

In 2023, a Pikachu-themed afternoon tea was held for a limited time at The Strings Hotel Nagoya and The Strings Omotesando. Now in 2024, we will be holding an afternoon tea inspired by Eevee and its evolved forms, the Eevee Friends (Vaporeon/Jolteon/Fleur/Espeon/Umbreon/Leafeon/Glaceon/Sylveon). As with the Pikachu Afternoon Tea, the pastry chefs and chefs from The Strings Hotel Nagoya and The Strings Omotesando have teamed up to create high-quality, cute, and exciting sweets and savory dishes inspired by the unique and colorful Eevee Friends.

The sweets at the stand include seven types of sweets, including macarons with overflowing cream that resembles the fluffy fur around Eevee's neck, cool Vaporeon jelly with a beautiful blue gradation and transparency, a chocolate cake that recreates the three-dimensional appearance of Jove using chocolate and candy, a rare cheesecake with just the right amount of tart blueberries and black currants reminiscent of the elegant Espeon, a green apple mousse that resembles Leafeon with its eye-catching bright green, a strawberry and peach tart that resembles the cute Nymphia with its swaying ribbons, and a matcha brownie that resembles a Monster Ball rolling through a grassland.

In addition, the savory menu includes three types of bruschetta with a curry flavor that expresses Flareon's fluffy texture, arancini that expresses Umbreon's appearance with sauces and ingredients, and a royale topped with blue jelly that expresses the always cool Glaceon. Other must-sees include special desserts designed with Eevee and Sylveon as motifs, floral sodas with drink markers that represent Eevee Friends, and Eevee frappes and art cafe lattes.
