The well-known leaker oecuf0 in a post revealed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arcseason 4 of the anime adaptation of Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba), will only consist of 8 episodes. Of course, we are now awaiting official confirmation.

The debut of Demon Slayer 4 It will take place on May 12, 2024 with a 1-hour episode.

Two compilation specials Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will be shown on May 4th and 5th.

The animation of Demon Slayer 4 It’s from the studio Ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu), directed by Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria the X, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) and the character design is by Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X).

Demon Slayer 4 main visual

The anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (Demon Slayer 3) premiered on April 9, 2023 with a one-hour special and consisted of 11 episodes.

The first season of the anime series adaptation of Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) premiered in April 2019 and the anime film Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train in October 2020.

Then in October 2021 we had the 7 episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc which adapt the anime film and in December 2021 premiered Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen) with a 1-hour special.

As for the story of the manga and anime adaptation of Kimetsu no Yaiba we have:

The setting is Japan, Taisho era. Tanjirou is a benevolent boy who lived peacefully with his family as a humble charcoal seller. His life changes completely when his family is killed by demons. The only other survivor is his younger sister, Nezuko, who has become a ferocious demon. To return Nezuko to normal and take revenge on the demon that killed her family, the brothers set out on a journey. From a young talent begins a tale of adventures of blood and swords!
