“Kinoko Inu”, a comic with a circulation of 1.7 million copies, will be made into a TV anime in the fall of 2024!

To commemorate the decision to make it into an anime, a teaser visual drawn by the original author Kimama Aohoshi and a special PV for the TV anime decision will be released today, May 13th (Monday). In line with the long-awaited TV anime adaptation, we will also release a newly drawn illustration with a message from the original author.

Furthermore, TV anime official X (formerly Twitter) has also started. To commemorate the decision to make it into a TV anime, we will be holding a “Follow & Repost W Present Campaign”. Depending on the number of followers, we will give away a special mini colored paper using a newly drawn illustration with a message from the original author, Kimama Aohei, as well as a gift for all digicon fans of “Kinoko Inu”.

“Kinoko Inu'' is a TV anime that depicts the daily lives of “Kinoko Inu'' (Kinoko Inu, representative director of the production committee: Furyu), which is cute but not just cute. Please look forward to the broadcast this fall.

One day, a mushroom dog was suddenly born in the garden.

“Kinoko Inu'' was first published as a one-shot in the September 2010 issue of “Monthly COMIC Ryu'' (Tokuma Shoten) and won the 7th Ryujin Award[Bronze Dragon Award]. After that, it was made into a series and serialized for 12 years until February 2022, and the final 15th volume was published on May 13, 2022. Currently, “Life with flowers'' is being serialized in “Four Mrs.'' (Akita Shoten).
