Kinnikuman Museum, the first permanent exhibition facility in Japan for the popular manga “Kinnikuman,” opened today on the 29th in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Prior to that, an opening ceremony was held on the 28th, with appearances by Yudetamago Shimada, martial artist Minowa Man Z, who serves as the museum director, and others.

The museum opened in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture (5-2-15 Otemachi, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), a city connected to Mt. Fuji, the setting of Tournament Mountain depicted in “Dream Superhuman Tag Chapter”. In order to convey the friendship depicted in “Kinnikuman” and the glorious glory that has been achieved thus far, the facility has been prepared with content that will surprise you at every turn and provide excitement that will keep you entertained.

The floor structure consists of two levels, the first and second floors, with the first floor consisting of a merchandise corner with a collection of Kinnikuman related goods and a free space where you can enjoy manga and related books. On the second floor, there are 45 reproductions of the original drawings, new life-size figures, and content introducing the artist Yudetamago (Takashi Shimada and Yoshinori Nakai) up to the present, so you can enjoy Kinnikuman to your heart’s content. It is a space where you can.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Yudetamago Shimada said, “When I first visited Numazu City by chance, I thought it was a wonderful place with mountains, the sea, and delicious food.Moreover, you could see Mt. Fuji beautifully.

Tournament Mountain, which appears in the Dream Superhuman Tag Chapter, is said to have been built next to Mt. Fuji. I feel very connected to Mt. Fuji, so I’m really happy to be able to create the Kinnikuman Museum in Numazu City.”

Director Minowaman Z said, “I admired Kinnikuman and wanted to become as strong as Kinnikuman, so I became a professional wrestler.And I changed the name of Kinnikuman to my real name, Minowa, and became Minowaman. Without it, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Let’s build excitement from this Kinnikuman Museum and make it a powerful town!”

Ryo Otani, chairman of the museum’s production committee, Hideichi Yorishige, mayor of Numazu, Takaaki Katsumata, member of the Liberal Democratic Party’s House of Representatives, and Shu Watanabe, member of the Constitutional Democratic Party’s House of Representatives, also appeared at the event. Mayor Yorishige said, “It is extremely important to revitalize the Nakamise shopping district, which represents Numazu.We have realized that a facility that will be the core of this is necessary.The children of the past are the same as the children of today. “We believe that it is a great honor for Numazu City to be able to create a base where a wide range of people can enjoy this museum,” he said of the collaboration with the local community.
