Pekora Usada, a member of the female VTuber group “Hololive,” played the game “Dragon Ball Z Kakarot” live on her YouTube channel on April 22nd. However, due to a glitch where the characters’ voices were not coming out, she decided to do the voice recording herself.

“Dragon Ball Z Kakarot” is an action RPG where you can control Son Goku and relive the story of “Dragon Ball Z”. Pekora Usada enthusiastically played the PS5 version of this game, but for some reason she encountered an issue where only the characters’ voices were not coming out. In response to this, Pekora Usada was perplexed and asked, “Why is my Goku so quiet?” but she recorded the voices of Gohan and Goku. Even the slightly serious scenes become cute.
However, one of the features of the “Dragon Ball” series is the performance of the charming voice actors.
Pekora Usada tried restarting the game, restarting the console, and reinstalling the game, but the voice did not come out, so it was decided to switch to the Nintendo Switch version and distribute it on that day.
According to the distribution on the 23rd, the following day, the PS5 had been exhibiting suspicious behavior for some time, and after initializing the console, the voice came out normally. The several hours of progress that were made on the Nintendo Switch version during the distribution on the 22nd were replayed (outside of distribution) on the PS5 version, and distribution continued. After that, the problem occurred again, so we decided to release it on the Nintendo Switch version.
“Dragon Ball Z Kakarot” is currently on sale for PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/Nintendo Switch.
