[Gashapon]Hokuriku soul food “beaver” in miniature!

In the recent abundance of miniature food and sweets charms, another high-quality new product has arrived. The deep-fried rice cracker “Beaver”, which has long been loved as a soul food of the Hokuriku region, is now available for the first time as a miniature charm in Gashapon.

Bandai's capsule toy “Gashapon(R)” will be introducing a new miniature charm of “Beaver,” a popular deep-fried rice cracker snack from Hokuriku Confectionery.
This item allows you to enjoy both the “Beaver” packaging, which has been loved in the Hokuriku region for a long time since its release in 1970, and the deep-fried rice crackers inside. The lineup includes five types of packaging with a total height of about 5.5cm – the standard flavors of the series, “Plain,” “White Shrimp,” “Crab,” “Curry,” and “Salted Green Laver” – each with a mini charm of the deep-fried rice cracker, and one type with the mascot character “Beaver-kun” on the “Plain” packaging, for a total of six types.

The miniature charm of “fried rice crackers” resembles the shape of a beaver's tooth, which is the origin of the product's name. It has a crispy surface and is painted to express the color of Hidaka kelp and grilled marks. The carefully designed shape makes it seem like you can even smell it. Be sure to add it to your collection!

They are scheduled to be introduced into capsule toy vending machines one after another from the fifth week of May 2024, so be sure to check them out.
