She aims to be loved by men and women of all ages, from children to adults, and she is active in a wide range of fields, including as an official cosplayer of “Atelier Wrestleriana” and “Arknights,” as well as a model, idol, and costume designer. Of course, she has worn many sailor suits over the years. We asked her about her thoughts on cosplay and sailor suits.

–Please tell us how you started cosplaying.

Ashu Nekota: I happened to see a cosplayer on SNS and was impressed.

I had only been a cosplayer for a long time, but then I started wanting to try cosplaying myself, so I started working as a home cosplayer who only cosplayed at home, and then started attending events, and gradually became a full-fledged cosplayer. became!

–You’re not just a cosplayer, you’re involved in a wide range of activities, but what do you keep in mind?

Ashu Nekota: I approach everything seriously! When I receive a cosplay job, I play the game and study the anime beforehand, and research whether the movement matches the image of the character and how I can get closer to the character before cosplaying. We are doing it! As I research, I fall in love with the characters, so I endorse all the characters I’ve cosplayed so far (lol)!

–You can feel the passion for not only character cosplay but also sailor uniforms.

Ashu Nekota: The uniforms at my school were a bit plain, so I longed for uniforms with sailor suits and cute skirts! “With cosplay, you can wear as many uniforms as you like!” and I wear them a lot!

――Please tell us your goals for this year as a cosplayer.

Ashu Nekota: When you think of cosplayers, you may have a strong image of photos, but in order to get to know more people, this year we are focusing on videos such as YouTube distribution, and we will be appearing on TV and as MCs. I hope you can see Ashu Nekota in action!
