“Despicable Me: Minion Super Transformation” features a lineup of national voice actors including Akiko Yajima, Rika Matsumoto, and Subaru Kimura! All 10 voice actors are revealed at once

The latest film in the Despicable Me animated series, the first in seven years, Despicable Me 3, will be released nationwide on July 19th. The voice actors who will appear in the Japanese dubbed version have been announced, including Yumi Sudo, Akiko Yajima, Sumire Kodama, Hiroshi Iwasaki, Rika Matsumoto, Shinichiro Miki, Yu Kobayashi, Miki Narahashi, Rei Takano, and Subaru Kimura.

“Despicable Me 3” is the latest film in the “Despicable Me” series, brought to you by Illumination, the studio behind “Minions” and “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” and follows the adventures of the main character Gru and his banana-loving sidekicks, the Minions.

The story begins with the birth of a new family member, Gru Jr., to Gru and his friends, who are living happily ever after. However, due to the presence of Gru's sworn enemy who is after his family, Gru and Lucy and their three sisters, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, must hide their identities and struggle in a new town.

It was recently announced that Shofutei Tsurube and Nakashima Mika will continue to play the roles of Gru and Lucy, while Kataoka Ainosuke will play Gru's classmate and nemesis Maxim, and Yamada Anna will play Poppy, a girl who discovers Gru's true identity and dreams of becoming a villain. The cast of 10 voice actors who will add excitement to the story has now been revealed.

Of the three sisters in the Gru family, the eldest sister Margo, who is a reliable person, will be played by Yumi Sudo, and the second sister Edith, who is a laid-back person, will be played by Akiko Yajima, who will be reprising their roles from the first film in the series, “Despicable Me.” In addition, the youngest sister Agnes will be played by the promising new star, 8-year-old Sumire Kodama.

When I found out I could become Agnes from the “Despicable Me” series, I thought, “Yay! I'm so happy!” I was so excited and just so happy!
I want you to see how Agnes tries her best not to lie. I worked really hard in all the scenes, but the most difficult part was practicing the scene where I was chased in the supermarket and had to scream and laugh, so I want you to pay attention to that!
If I could undergo a “super transformation,” I would like to be someone who can do anything.
For example, if you want to get 100 points on a test, you can do it, or you can fly in the sky, or you can become an actress!

Yumi Sudo (role of Margo)

The role of the reliable eldest daughter, Margo, is played by Yumi Sudo.

Although Edith has a strong image of being a mischievous girl, there are scenes where she also shows her cool side.

Shinichiro Miki (voice of Perry)

I can't believe I got to participate in a production that has been running since 2010! I can't believe I got to share the same world with such a wonderful family and such charming minions! I was so happy and excited that I stood in front of the microphone!
The character I played, Perry, is the father of a neighboring family who live in a town called Mayflower, where the Gru family takes refuge.

I want you to pay attention to the fact that, in a way, you can see his good nature as he is manipulated by the minions, even though he is a conceited person. The latest work is titled “Super Transformation,” and I would like to try “Super Transformation” so that I can fly in the sky without relying on anything!

Yu Kobayashi (role of Patsy)
