Hyundai Mobility Japan Co., Ltd. “Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045” is set in the year 2045, when the world has been devastated by an economic disaster. The story follows Motoko Kusanagi, a cyborg whose entire body has been cyberized through the development of information networks and cyborg (prosthetic) technology, as she fights against cybercrime in order to restore order to society. In a cyberized and motorized future, the main character Motoko, who has a full body prosthetic, is portrayed in the work as a being who exceeds human performance.

As she races towards a new dimensional future, she constantly asks herself, “What is a human being? What am I?”

The IONIQ 5 N is a high-performance EV model proposed by Hyundai's high-performance brand N in the current era of electrification. The concept of the event was “Mission from Public Security Section 9: Track down the true identity of “N” who appeared in Shibuya!”

In the collaboration movie, the IONIQ 5 N, which surprised the members of Public Security Section 9 as it drove off, appears in Shibuya, a city where various cultures come together. Inside the SHIBUYA TSUTAYA 1F building, there are mechanisms that allow visitors to relive the true identity of “N” as the members of Public Security Section 9 reveal it. Among other things, there is a live-action car chase scene between the IONIQ 5 N and the Tachikoma (full-size), a thinking tank equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) that acts autonomously, a special booth with a three-sided large screen that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of animation, and a simulation game (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) where you can experience the exhilarating driving of N.
