The sequel to the TV anime “Maho Girls PreCure!” (MahoPre), “Maho Girls PreCure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~”, has been announced to air on ABC TV and TV Asahi's late-night anime slot “ANiMAZiNG!!!” (every Saturday from 26:00) from January 11, 2025. This will be the first time that a “PreCure” work will be broadcast in the late-night slot, and the catchphrase will be “Two time periods (futures) are now connected with the magical words “Cure Up Rapapa!” Details such as the story and characters will be announced at a later date.

This sequel is the second video project aimed at fans who have grown up with PreCure, as a new venture for the TV anime series “PreCure” which began airing in 2004.

Until now, the “PreCure” series has been produced for its main audience of children aged 3 to 6 years old. However, as part of the measures to mark the 20th anniversary, a new series will be produced following the first installment, “Kibou no Chikara ~Otona PreCure '23~” (to be broadcast in October 2023), aimed at fans of the time who have now become adults, under the concept of “creating videos that will allow them to continue to enjoy the PreCure series even more.”

“Maho Girls PreCure!” is the 13th installment of the “PreCure” series, which aired from February 2016 to January 2017. It is a story of miracles and magic that connects the “Magical World” and the “Nashimahou World (human world).” The official sequel being produced this time will be broadcast on 24 stations nationwide affiliated with ABC TV and TV Asahi, with each episode being 30 minutes long and a total of 12 episodes (number of episodes to be determined).

The “PreCure” series has aired 21 works so far, from “Futari wa PreCure” which began airing on February 1, 2004, to the currently airing “Wonderful PreCure!” 32 movies have also been released in theaters, depicting themes such as friendship, bonds, and growth in depth as the main characters transform into legendary warriors “PreCure” and face powerful forces, and the series continues with new motifs, themes, and characters every year.
