Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1991. Graduated from Meiji University. He made his debut in 2012 when he was a student, winning the 22nd Ayukawa Tetsuya Award for “Murder in the Gym''. In 2014, he was nominated for the 14th Honkaku Mystery Award (novel category) for “Murder in the Aquarium.'' In 2020, he was nominated for the 73rd Mystery Writers of Japan Award (full-length and short story collection category) for “A Bleak Scene in the Early Morning.'' His book “Jinmine Glico'' won the 24th Honkaku Mystery Award (novel category), the 77th Mystery Writers of Japan Award (full length and short story collection category), and was nominated for the 37th Shugoro Yamamoto Award.
