The viviON Group, including viviON Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Kousaku Akashi), is pleased to announce that the group's total sales for fiscal year 2023 will reach 52.9 billion yen.

In addition to the steady performance of existing services and businesses within the group, the strong performance of new businesses that have expanded into areas other than the digital domain led to an increase of 7.5 billion yen from the previous fiscal year's 45.4 billion yen.

The total number of users of the services provided by the ViviON Group is over 13 million, the number of works handled is over 1.97 million, and the number of creators and corporations that entrust their works to us is 125,000. (As of March 2024)

In fiscal 2023, we opened the comprehensive e-commerce site “viviON BLUE” which sells goods and other items, so that you can enjoy entertainment beyond digital content. We have also strengthened our expansion into non-digital areas, such as having our VTuber group “Aogiri High School” take over Akihabara, selling illustrations at an exhibition through the creator platform “GENSEKI,” and holding a collaborative event with Tokyo Dome City Attractions for our original IP “Clock over ORQUESTA.”

This has helped us to attract more attention and gain new customers.

Our overseas business continues to perform well, and we have added Spanish and other languages to our DLsite service, Everyone's Translation, which is run by ASIS, to make it compatible with a total of 14 languages. As a result, more people can now enjoy Japanese content, which has contributed to the growth of our overseas business.

■ This year's developments and future prospects

The ViviON Group, whose mission is to “make all 2D otaku happy,” will continue to expand overseas by expanding content marketing through translation and by tailoring content to the characteristics of each country, in order to deliver entertainment content to even more 2D fans.

In addition, we are also focusing on the VTuber field, which is expected to have a market size of approximately 80 billion yen in 2023 (※1), and we have various plans for future developments for “Aogiri High School,” whose official YouTube channel has over 1 million subscribers.
