The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The novel of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu was released from 2003 to 2011 and had 11 volumes written by Nagaru Tanigawa. The first season of the anime series debuted in 2006 with animation from the studio Kyoto Animation in a non-linear order and was retransmitted in 2009 with new episodes and a new chronological order. The series also got an anime film titled Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsuwhich was released in Japanese theaters in February 2010.

The animation is from the studio Cloverworks (The Promised Neverland, Wonder Egg Priority, Spy x Family), directed by Keiichirō Saitō (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Regards), the script is by Erika Yoshida (Lupin III: Part IV) and the character design is by Kerorira (animation direction for Wonder Egg Priority).
