Get excited with the sense of unity that only “BuzzRai” can offer!

The venue went dark and the opening movie played on the screen, after which VAZZY's Araki Tasuku (role of Mamiya Takaaki), Kobayashi Yusuke (role of Kira Ouka), Yamanaka Mahiro (role of Tsuki Kazusa), Shirai Yusuke (role of Tsuki Futaba), Sasa Tsubasa (role of Oyama Naosuke), and Horie Shun (role of Shirase Yuma) appeared on stage.

Amidst loud cheers, each member, dressed in smart black and purple outfits, raised their fists and sang the unit song “Fly High”. The atmosphere was filled with the colors of “VAZZROCK”, leaving us with a sense of nostalgia and elation, and then “ROCK DOWN” appeared.

Dressed in gorgeous white, pink and black costumes, Kikuchi Yukitoshi (role of Onoda Sho), Hasegawa Yoshiaki (role of Kujikawa Yuto), Sato Takuya (role of Amano Reiji), Saka Yasuto (role of Tachibana Ayumu), Masumoto Takuya (role of Daikoku Gaku), and Kawamoto Keisuke (role of Nazumi Ruka) sang the unit song “Asterism⁂” and heated up the venue.

“VAZZROCK LIVE 2024” opened with each unit's song, and was the first live performance since the broadcast of the TV anime “VAZZROCK THE ANIMATION”, and it was also the first live performance in a long time where they were allowed to sing out loud, so the cast members who gathered on stage seemed excited.

As each member spoke of their enthusiasm for the live performance, Hasegawa began his voice lesson with, “Speaking of BuzzRai's voice training…!” The familiar call-and-response of “Buzz!” and “Rock!” filled the venue with a sense of unity.

As if to further increase the excitement, the solo section began. Aragaki was the first to perform “Follow Me” by Takaaki Mamiya, and she captivated the audience with her perfectly coordinated choreography with the dancers before handing the baton over to Kobayashi.

Kobayashi expressively sang Kira Ouka's “Blinding Lights” with her crystal clear voice, and then Kikuchi took turns singing Onoda Sho's “F Ballad,” creating the world of the song together with the two dancers.

Surrounded by glowing blue sign lights, the performances continued with distinctive individuality, with Hasegawa passionately singing Kujikawa Yuto's “Passion Groove!”, Shirai singing Tsuki Futaba's “Shiawaseno Katachi” with cute choreography, and Yamanaka passionately singing Tsuki Kazusa's “Escape” with a sharp gaze and powerful voice.

Sato, immersing himself in the emerald lighting, sings Amano Reiji's “Illusion×Kiss” with a sensual voice, while Saka passionately and coolly expresses Tachibana Ayumu's inner strength and conviction in “Stay.”

Sasa-san, who energetically sang Naosuke Oyama's “Smile again,” showed off the best energy in VAZZROCK with his energetic dance. Horie-san, who began singing in a mellow atmosphere, captivated the audience with his heartfelt falsetto as he sang Yuma Shirase's “Lucida.”

Kawamoto appeared holding a pink sign light and sang Natsuki Ruka's “Daijobu” with the dancers. As the elegant sound echoed through the venue, Masumoto sang Daikoku Gaku's “Hana no Homare” and put on a powerful Japanese stage. The audience cheered loudly during the variety of solo song parts.

While enjoying the afterglow of the raging solo song part, the Tsuki brothers, Yamanaka and Shirai, will be the MCs for the planned corner “Tell me! Buzz Like Questions”. They will answer questions that fans chose on social media in advance, “What would you like to ask the members of VAZZY&ROCK DOWN?”

As the members answered the question, “What are some interesting stories that happened during practice?”, they suddenly started talking about the dressing room. It's typical of BuzzLai to see the members happily talking about what was going on in the dressing room.

Aragaki shared an episode that made her feel like she had returned to her home of “VAZZROCK.” On the day of the live performance, when she entered the dressing room just before, one member was eating his lunch, the other was staring into the distance, and only Yamanaka greeted her. She said with a smile that she felt “this is VAZZY” when she saw how they went at their own pace, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

In response to the question, “Who among the members would you like to talk to more?” Kobayashi revealed that he would like to talk more with Horie, while Hasegawa and Sato agreed that they would like to explore more of Kikuchi's humor, resulting in some fresh conversation.

In the segment, “Tell us what you do to change your mood!”, Hasegawa started talking about his hobby of motorcycles, and got very excited with his fantasy of “riding around on a motorcycle in my concert costume.”

The scene where the younger brother (played by Shirai as Futaba) tries to keep the conversation moving before it gets out of hand, and points out to his older brother (played by Yamanaka as Ichisa) who has forgotten that he is the MC, will have you laughing nonstop.

In the next question, “What do you wear when you sleep?”, each member introduced their own pajamas. They talked about their preferences, such as wearing staff T-shirts as pajamas or changing pajamas according to the season.

When Sato revealed that he had slept wearing the pants and T-shirt that Hasegawa and Masumoto had given him the day before the live performance, it emerged that the other cast members had also received pants from Hasegawa for their birthdays, causing the audience to erupt in laughter.

As one friendly story after another about VAZZY & ROCK DOWN came out, the audience naturally burst into smiles and enjoyed the banter between the members.

The second half of the concert began. The duet section started with Takaaki Mamiya and Ouka Kira's “DOGFIGHT.” The audience cheered as Aragaki and Kobayashi skillfully used the microphone stand to sing the intense melody that seemed to compete with each other.

In “Go Crazy” by Amano Reiji & Tachibana Ayumi, Sato and Saka sang facing each other as if to represent the relationship they have built up so far. The performance conveyed their feelings of moving forward, and the cheers from the audience grew louder.

During Naosuke Oyama & Yuma Shirase's “Hello My Dear,” Sasa-san and Horie-san created a bright atmosphere by high-fiving and smiling at the audience. The sky-high melody and the energetic singing voices of the two brought smiles to the audience's faces.

As soon as the stage was lit up with bright lighting, ROCK DOWN appeared and performed their unit songs “REVOLUTION” and “ROCK DOWN” back to back. With two completely different styles, they proudly showed off their growth and new horizons.

Not to be outdone, the venue also got heated up, and the voltage reached a climax when VAZZY performed their unit songs “Shikisai” and “VAZZY”. The audience responded to the individual members' individualistic encouragement by waving their sign lights vigorously.

As the cheers continued, the 12 gathered on stage again and it was time for the closing credits. After the dancers were introduced, each one gave a speech filled with gratitude.

Aragaki commented, “I believe we are all able to stand on this stage thanks to all of you who came to our shows and supported us even in these difficult circumstances. I would like to create another time like this together, so let's continue walking together. And then, let's say, 'Let's play' again.”

With all the members holding passionate feelings in their hearts, the performance ended with all 12 members singing “I can't stop dancing!”, the ending theme of the 13th episode of the TV anime “VAZZROCK THE ANIMATION”, and the venue was enveloped in a rainbow-colored glow as the performance came to a close.

The archived broadcast of this performance will be available to watch until Saturday, June 1st. Please enjoy VAZZY&ROCK DOWN's hot performance as many times as you like.
