While e-sports are being used for regional revitalization and regional revitalization across Japan, Igarashi Sogyo Co., Ltd., a total engineering company in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is holding its first e-sports event!
Igarashi Sogyo, which has been involved in music festivals such as “Rock in Japan” and “Oktoberfest,” aims to provide new support for young people and further revitalize local regions.

The event name is “IGA CUP powered by GLOE”
The competition title will be the fighting game “Street Fighter 6” in anticipation of “EVO 2024” scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, USA in July 2024, and the company has been involved in the management and promotion of e-sports events since 2015. GLOE Co., Ltd. will cooperate.

On the day of the event, professional e-sports player ACQUA (who belongs to Hiroshima TEAM iXA)@acqua_db) and e-sports caster Sasa (@SASA_tk74) will be participating and providing live commentary.
An exhibition match between the winning team and ACQUA will also be held, so keep your eyes peeled until the end.

The tournament is a competition between teams of three people.
Participant entries have already begun, but if the maximum number of applications is reached, a lottery will be held.
