It has been announced that an anime project for the popular comic “Hana to Yume Comics/Hakusensha'' by the original author Hisaya Nakajo has been decided and is in progress. A teaser visual was also released.

This work is a school drama that surrounds Mizuki Ashiya, a girl who transfers from America to an all-boys school in order to meet the person she admires, Izumi Sano. It was serialized in Hana to Yume (Hakusensha) from issue 20 in 1996 to issue 18 in 2004, and a total of 23 volumes were released by Hana to Yume Comics. A treasured edition (all 12 volumes) was released in 2007 when it was made into a drama in Japan, and it is a popular work that has sold over 17 million copies in total.

Along with the release of this information, a teaser visual depicting Mizuki Ashiya, Izumi Sano, and Shuichi Nakatsu was released, and a teaser site was also opened. Additionally, we have received comments from the Hana to Yume editorial department following the anime project decision.

This is a project that I have been working on for some time while discussing its contents with Professor Hisaya Nakajo.

Mr. Nakajo also looked at the rough sketches of the characters and the scenario, and was really looking forward to seeing the world of “Hana-kun,'' which was created in a different way from the manga.

I am very disappointed that I was not able to see the completed version with you, but thanks to the enthusiastic support of all the readers, 20 years have passed since the completion of “To You in Bloom''. However, I am very grateful that it is starting to move again in the form of an anime.
