“Administrative Work for Survival” by Kyohei Sakaguchi (original author) and Haruko Michikusa (manga)

■ Work introduction

No artist or anyone else can accomplish anything without taking care of administrative tasks.

The only skill that can make dreams come true is “administration.”

This is a practical comic in which manga artist Michikusa Haruko has easily illustrated the secrets of office work that Sakaguchi Kyohei, who is active in many fields as a writer, architect, painter, musician, and consultant for “Inocchi's Phone,” learned through his conversations with Jim, a talented office worker he met when he was young.

No matter how talented you are, if you neglect your paperwork, you won't accomplish anything. Through this comic, you will learn that paperwork is the key to turning your dreams into reality.

“I have no confidence in myself”

“I can't keep doing what I want to do”

“I'm worried and can't take action”

What was lacking was “administration.”

Please take a look at “Administrative Work for Survival,” a practical comic that is sure to be useful to you.

“Anything you can imagine can be realized. It's just that no one has done it. The only thing missing is the administrative work.”

■From the author

Thinking about office work is, in other words, a way to realize what you have always wanted to do since you were a child. Everyone has something they want to achieve. If you keep that in mind, Jim will definitely give you lots of fun ideas.

–Kyohei Sakaguchi (excerpt from the afterword of this book)

When people around you tell you “There's no way that's possible,” it's easy to feel like giving up on your dreams, but I wrote this book with the hope that it would become a kind of talisman for the many people who want to make their dreams come true.

—Haruko Michikusa
