The doujinshi sale event “Petit Fancy 40'' was held for two days from May 11th to 12th at the Flower Expo Park Confucian Hall adjacent to MRT Yuanshan Station in Taipei, Taiwan. This event is a smaller version of Taiwan's largest doujinshi sale event, “FANCYFRONTIER Cultivation Animation Festival,” which is held twice a year in the summer and winter. It is operated by

At the venue, past winners of the manga and illustration doujin contest currently being held, “The 13th Pioneering Goku Short Story (Genso Taisho)” (deadline: July 15th), will be on display, as will be considered an indispensable part of local doujin events. Many cosplayers were exhibiting in circles, and cosplayers not only from all over Taiwan but also from Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia participated in the event.

On the first day of the event, cosplayer Hiyoko (X: @nakukotogadekin), who traveled all the way from Nagasaki, Japan, to participate dressed as Shinkaku (doujin costume) from “Genshin”.

Although this was her first time in Taiwan and her first time participating in “Taiwan PF”, she was surrounded by photographers due to the high quality of her work. We captured this photo of her, embodying the saying “The charm of cosplay transcends oceans.”
