Episodes postponed! Whisper Me a Love Song has production problems

With 12 episodes planned, the official website for the anime series adaptation of the manga Whisper Me a Love Song (Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau) by Eku Takeshima revealed that the next episodes will be postponed due to production problems.

It was thus revealed that episodes 1 and 2 will be repeated on June 8th, episodes 3 to 6 will be repeated on June 15th, episode 9 will be shown on June 22nd and episode 10 will be shown on June 29th.

There is no forecast for the airing of the last two episodes which are thus left without a viewing window in this anime season. The solution could be airing it at the end of the following season (3 months later) or creating a special episode.

• 8 of June – Summary of episodes 1 and 2
• 15 of June – Summary of episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6
• 22 of June – Episode 9.
• 29 of June – Episode 10.

In the statement we can read:

The anime series Whisper Me a Love Song has been running since April 2024, but for production reasons, we decided to change the broadcast time from episode 9 onwards. We would like to sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing the work.

The animation is from Cloud Hearts with the company of Yokohama Animation Lab (Miru Tights) and the direction is by Akira Mano (Ghost Hunt). The argument is Hiroki Uchida (Requiem of the Rose King, The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest) and the character design is by Minami Yoshida (Mysteria Friends).

• Mikako Komatsu as Aki Mizuguchi.

Synopsis for Whisper Me a Love Song (Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau)

Yori Asanagi is a mature girl in many ways, but she remains pure when it comes to romance. This feeling is demonstrated when a freshman, Himari Kino, suddenly confesses his love for her after her band's performance at the opening ceremony. Confused and surprised, Yori asks her friends for a consultation, but they make fun of her, saying that she is experiencing love. Yori soon decides to try to reciprocate Himari's feelings, but in a twist, she realizes that what Himari loved was not her, but her music!
