“Niconico Super Conference 2024” was held on April 27th and 28th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

“Super Conference”, a participatory event themed on “Nico Nico Douga”, has been held at Makuhari Messe at the end of April every year since 2012.

Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the event was only held online in 2020 and 2021, but real-life events will be resumed from 2022. In 2024, the number of real visitors exceeded 120,000, and they enjoyed the various events.

This year's Niko Super, whose theme was “A hero who is alone.'' More than 100 various projects were held and company booths were set up. The exhibition space “Creator Cross'', where creators active on the internet can express themselves freely within the venue, has also been significantly expanded, making it a corner that makes each person feel that they can be the protagonist more than ever before.

Of course, the cosplay corner, a specialty of “Nicocho”, was a huge success this time as well. Miku, who is an indispensable character when talking about “Nicocho”, was as popular as ever, and characters from game content such as “Goddess of Victory: NIKKE”, “Collapse: Star Rail”, and “Blue Archive”, which attracted attention with their real 10-series gacha, as well as VTubers such as Hololive and Nijisanji, stood out, giving a sense of the changing times.
