Breaking news! The largest-ever exhibition of original artwork by Masamune Shirow, the creator of “Ghost in the Shell,” will be held in spring 2025!

Parco Co., Ltd., together with the Setagaya Literary Museum of the Setagaya Cultural Foundation and Kodansha Co., Ltd., will hold the “The World of Shirow Masamune Exhibition” at the Setagaya Literary Museum (1-10-10 Minami-Karasuyama, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) in spring 2025 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the museum's opening.

Masamune Shirow's works captured cutting-edge technology, which was merely a single point in the 1980s, with a unique feel, and were the first in the world to create a digitalized future. The impact of these revolutionary works on creators of manga, science fiction literature, movies, and other genres that followed is immeasurable.

This large-scale exhibition will mainly feature original drawings of his works, and will unravel the worldview of stories he has built, his artistic ability, and his foresight.
