– All in one Anime and manga new release updates, New anime release, 2024 animes, upcoming anime, trending anime, and lots more!!.

The period from 2023, when the manga “Gintama” (published by Hideaki Sorachi/Shueisha Jump Comics) will celebrate its 20th anniversary, to 2026, when the anime “Gintama” will celebrate its 20th anniversary since its start, will be designated as the “Gintama 20th Anniversary Year”. The “Gintama 20th Anniversary Project'' is going to be a great success.

As part of this project, “Gintama On Theater 2D Baragaki Hen” will be screened in November 2023, re-editing the TV broadcast versions of popular episodes and adding bonus footage that can only be seen here. Although it is a re-edited version of the TV series, it has become a hot topic, ranking in the top 10 in the weekend movie attendance ranking (November 10th to November 12th, according to Kogyo Tsushinsha)!

Following the screening of “Baragaki-hen,” the second installment of Gintama on Theater 2D will be a re-edited version of the popular episode “Ikoku Keisei-hen,” which tells the story of a fleeting “promise” that begins with the love of a prostitute, broadcast on TV. “Gintama on Theater 2D Ikoku Keisei-hen” will be screened in theaters nationwide for three weeks only from Friday, June 21st. It also includes bonus footage that can only be seen here!

A new trailer has been released, introducing the highlights of the film with newly recorded voices by the three members of the Yorozuya family: Gintoki Sakata, Shinpachi Shimura, and Kagura.

Furthermore, we have decided to give away gifts to visitors for 3 consecutive weeks!

The first item to be distributed will be “Gingin-san Tissues” from Friday, June 21st, the day of the release! The tissue box that Gintoki prepared when he went to Yoshiwara at the request of a legendary courtesan and transformed into Gingin-san, a dangerous man never seen before, has been reproduced in a mini size of approximately W110 x D55 x H36mm! It's sure to be a great item to display in your room, or as a handkerchief to wipe away tears at the theater.

We are also preparing presents for the 2nd and 3rd editions featuring the “Ikkoku Kyojo Hen''. Look forward to the announcement!

*One piece will be given to each person per viewing.

*Since the number is limited, distribution will end as soon as it runs out.

At this screening, we also plan to sell goods featuring newly drawn illustrations.

Further details will be announced on the special website and the official Gintama anime account (formerly Twitter) from time to time.
