On Sunday, May 12, 2024, Nihonbashi Street Festa 2024 will be held for the first time in about five years. The event is the largest cosplay event in Japan, held in Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, and various programs were held mainly in Nihonbashisuji Shopping Street.

The event took place along Sakaisuji and Nihonbashisuji Shopping Arcade, stretching over an area of ​​approximately 600 metres from the north end of Ebisucho intersection to the south end of Nihonbashi 3-chome Minami intersection. On the day, the event drew approximately 210,000 visitors, many of whom were cosplayers and tourists.

The Cosplay & Character Parade, which is always a highlight of the Street Festival, featured around 500 cosplayers dressed as a variety of characters, mainly along Sakaisuji, entertaining the spectators who had gathered along the route.
