But now it has finally been announced that “CeVIO AI Bonsoyogi Talk Voice”, which allows the character to speak, will also be produced!

[On the lifting of the talk voice ban]

With the development and spread of AI technology, the issue of “the right to voice” has become a lawless area.

I myself have been worrying about this problem on a daily basis.

Therefore, due to concerns about the risk of misuse, we initially planned to limit development to “CeVIO Al Bonsoyogi Song Voice.”

However, through this crowdfunding campaign, we have received the warm support and encouragement from so many people…

At the same time, I feel great expectations for this project, and have decided to sell “CeVIO Al Bon Soyogi Talk Voice'' in hopes of contributing to a brighter future for voice AI.

Now, I am once again convinced of the possibilities of new entertainment.

In my career as a voice actor, especially when I appear in reading plays, I strongly feel the possibilities of voice and sound, which are limited in their expression. Freedom that comes from a world that doesn't require sight. A single word can make you feel at ease, but on the other hand, it can also make you extremely anxious. Just as there is a word called “Kotodama,'' I believe that voices have great power. And people who have the ability to express voices specifically are called “voice actors.” That's why I want to explore these infinite possibilities even further through this experiment, and I hope to transcend cultural and language barriers and communicate this to people all over the world.

Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about how to deal with AI. I think there are many problems that need to be overcome. Still, I believe that we should coexist with AI, not be hostile to it. There is no good or bad in the technology known as AI. It all depends on the morality of the people who use it.

That's why I thought that by releasing “Bonsoyogi,” which uses my voice, I could prove “what voice AI should be like.”

We hope that this decision will broaden the scope of creativity in all areas and lead to the development of new forms of entertainment.

The fact that the voice of Kaji Yuki, who is at the forefront of the voice acting industry, has been softened will be a step towards updating the future of voice acting, the correct use of AI, and the environment in which creators can create freely.

We are also developing derivative work guidelines so that you can use the software with peace of mind.

We are considering a policy that allows use for a wide range of purposes, both commercial and non-commercial, only for individuals or doujin circles.
