A Shochiku has just released the uncredited ending sequence of the original anime series AstroNote, and it’s definitely something you won’t want to miss!
In the video, you can listen to the beautiful theme “Kokoro no Kagi” by Maaya Uchida, which really sets the mood. The story centers around Takumi Miyasaki, a character you’ll definitely get attached to.
Astro Note
The animation comes from Telecom Animation Film, with Shinji Takamatsu as the chief director. Haruki Kasugamori handles the direction, while Kimiko Ueno pens the script. The original character designs are created by Eisaku Kubonouchi, and Maho Aoki adapted them for the anime. Reiji Kasuga takes care of the art direction, while Kohei Munemoto provides the music.
So what’s AstroNote all about? The story follows Takumi, a talented chef who’s just lost his job. He finds himself at a crossroads when he gets an offer to work at an old boarding house called “Astro-sou.” At first, he’s hesitant, especially since he’ll have to live there full-time. But everything changes when he meets Mira, the enchanting caretaker who quickly wins him over. As they start working together, their bond grows deeper. But here’s the twist—Mira has a secret: she’s not from this world!
